CLIA Australasia has announced the return of the consumer focused National Cruise Week from 2-9 September 2013.
Offering cruisers a range of deals from the organisation’s 30 member lines, the week-long promotion is the largest of its kind in Australia.
CLIA Australasia general manager Brett Jardine expects this year to surpass the success of last year’s inaugural National Cruise Week, with more than 1,000 travel agents slated to participate across Australia and New Zealand.
“Some of our members reported record sales during last year’s National Cruise Week so we can’t wait to see what fantastic deals they come up with this year,” Mr Jardine said.
Travel agents will be privy to marketing support including advice on using social media, hosting themed events and staging information evenings for their clients to help boost sales during the period.
CLIA Australasia is also encouraging agents to get involved on Facebook and Twitter using the handle @cruiseweek2013
