Penthouse Spa Suites will be introduced aboard Seabourn Quest, Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn.
Four new Penthouse Spa Suites will be featured aboard Seabourn Quest when she emerges from dry dock this month positioned above the ‘Spa at Seabourn’, while her sister ships will welcome the new accommodation level duringtheir next scheduled dry docks.
Passengers will be able to access their suites via the spiral staircase in the lobby of the spa and will be granted unlimited access to the spa’s ‘Serene Area’ complete with an aroma steam bath with salt inhalation, heated lounges, hydro-therapy pool and a herbal bath. Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn Penthouse Spa Suite guests will also have access to a Kneipp Walk Pool.
They will also be pampered with in-suite spa amenities and the services of a spa concierge during their voyage.
“A growing number of our guests choose Seabourn’s new ships specifically because of our beautiful onboard Spa at Seabourn facilities,” Seabourn president Richard Meadows said.
“Some of these guests have expressed a desire to incorporate a more complete spa vacation experience into their cruises and our Penthouse Suites are designed to fulfill that wish.”
Norwegian architecture and design firm Yran & Storbraaten have been commissioned by the cruise line to redesign Deck 10 to accommodate the new Suites that will offer 48-50 square metres of inside space and 16 square metre private balconies overlooking the ship’s stern.
Each Suite will feature a living and dining area with seating for four, a separate bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, glass door and floor-to-ceiling windows, a bath tub, exclusive spa shower and two flat-screen televisions.
Guests will be provided with their personal beverage preferences in the mini bar with a second in-suite bar fully stocked with flavoured water, fruit juices, mixed nuts, dried fruits and healthy snacks.
The spa experience continues with the option of diffusing one of four L’Occitane fragrances through the Suite after turn-down of an evening and relaxing music available as an in-suite soundtrack.
Bathrooms will offer a selection of Molton Brown spa products in addition to the high end line of products already available, along with luxurious bath sponges and designer soaps by Hermes, L’Occitane, Baudelaire and Salvatore Ferragamo.
