“Love for Sail” follows the journey of four single women per episode and their search for love at sea.
Eager single men abound on their voyage through exotic locations including Ocho Rios, St. Maarten, Great Stirrup Cay and Cozumel with the initial introduction to their eligible suitors made at a mixer facilitated by cruise directors Bucko and Carmen.
Produced by the creators of “Undercover Boss”, which Norwegian CEO Kevin Sheehan starred in 2010, the single ladies will participate in a variety of romantic dates onboard, mixer parties and adventurous shore excursions.
“We are thrilled to work with Lifetime and our friends at Studio Lambert on a unique series that showcases the many aspects of cruising from lavish suites and incredible dining options to innovative on board activities and exciting shore excursions,” Mr Sheehan said.
“There is such romance in being at sea; this show will do a great job of showcasing that and sharing the stories of these guests who may find the love of their life aboard.”
Featuring Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Pearl and Norwegian Star, viewers will have the opportunity to catch glimpses of such amenities as ‘The Haven by Norwegian’, ‘Posh’, ‘Mandara Spa, ‘Bliss Ultra Lounge’ and ‘La Cucina’.
The show will go to air on the Lifetime network in the U.S. on 10 April and a trailer is expected to be available for viewing aboard Norwegian vessels this week.
Being thereality show addict that I am, this concept sounds like heaven to me…two of my favourite things blended into one fabulous package!
Having fallen in love (or lust) several times whilst cruising, I can attest to the intoxication that comes about when embarking on a cruise…it goes back to that ‘bubble’ that I have oft referred to.
Will the girls find true love though or just a cruising fling? Will Bucko and Carmen get together? These are all questions I’m looking forward to answering when the show airs on April 10…now how can I get my hands on these episodes?
What do you think about the concept of a reality dating show aboard a cruise ship? Would you tune in?
