It’s always exciting when a cruise ship repositions and home ports from a new destination.
Recently Sydneysiders have been rejoicing at the many cruising options we will have in the coming years with a multitude of ships calling Australia home…I can just imagine that New Yorkers are feeling the same with this recent news.
In a first for the line, Carnival Miracle will launch year-round, eight-day itineraries to the Caribbean and Bahamas from New York commencing in April 2012.
With three unique itineraries from its new homeport, Carnival Miracle will offer the following options to passengers:
- Eastern Caribbean departures to San Juan, St. Thomas and Grand Turk, offered on a rotating basis April through October
- Bahamas sailings featuring stops at the private Bahamian island of Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk and Nassau, offered on a rotating basis April through October
- Bahamas/Florida cruises with port calls to Port Canaveral (Orlando), Nassau and Freeport, offered November through April
