The final shape of the new-look Carnival Australia is coming together with Ryan Taibel and Brett Wendorf recruited to head up the P&O Cruises and Princess Cruises’ sales efforts.
The appointments come after the announcement earlier this year of the separate brand-focussed sales teams for Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland America Line/Seabourn.
Brett brings 20 years of travel industry experience to his new role having worked with Players Club International in his home-town of Los Angeles, Top Deck, I.T. Adventure and Kumuka Worldwide.
Ryan brings a wealth of cruise experience to the table, having worked with Carnival Australia as part of Complete Cruise Solutions for the past three years.
Tammy Marshall, senior vice president P&O Cruises and Commercial Shared Services will have responsibility for the P&O Cruises World Cruising and Cunard sales drive.
“Our new sales structure is exactly what is needed in an increasingly competitive market to enable each of our cruise branfs to make the most of every sales opportunity,” Ms Marshall said.
“It is also a way of streamlining relationships with our travel agent partners with a simplified brand specific offering, which we confidently believe will drive sales growth for all of our brands.”
