P&O’s second largest ship, Azura, called into the port of Valletta, Malta on 24 September for the first time.
Sailing past St. Peter and St. Paul’s bastions, passengers lined the decks to experience the Old Saluting Battery sounding the cannons ahead of disembarkation as a village band played traditional Maltese festa marches. P&O Cruises port agent in Malta, Thomas Smith and Valletta Cruise Port officials presented Captain Paul Brown with a commemmorative plaque in accordance with maritime tradition.
