Currently being held on board Norwegian Spirit’s sailing from New Orleans, the prize being offered is USD $1 million, the largest prize ever offered at sea for a slot tournament.
263 finalists are competing for the grand prize after winning spots in the competition via land-based and sea satellite slot tournaments.
Scores from sessions on different slot machines will be combined with the top 30 players winning cash prizes. The finalist with the highest score will win the USD $1 million.
“Gaming has always been a highlight at Norwegian Cruise Line. With the Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament finale, it has reached a new level of excitement,” Norwegian vice president of casino operations Jim Abbas said.
Recognised as the ‘Best Cruise Line Casino’ by readers of “Casino Player” magazine for ten consecutive years, Norwegian owns and operates their Casinos at Sea.
Passengers are eligible to enroll for the ‘Sea Players Club’ to earn reward points which can be used during their cruise for redemption onboard for a range of amenities.
