Silversea will partner with Relais & Chateux in 2012 to offer passengers the opportunity to learn how to cook with the line’s culinary trainer David Bisland, former instructor at London’s Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School.
Dubbed ‘L’Ecole des Chefs’, the complimentary program will include a variety of demonstrations including wine pairings, sauce preparation and knife skills.
Developed in conjunction with the consulting grand chef Relais & Chateaux, Jacques Thorel, the focus will be on regional produce with participants offered the ‘Market to Plate’ experience on several voyages including an escorted tour to a local market, followed by a cooking class along with visits to local restaurants or hotels.
