Costa Classica will resume her Japan itineraries from August to October this year with the 1,680-passenger vessel sailing on 12 trips to Japan and South Korea.
Currently home-ported in Shanghai, Classica will offer a variety of voyages ranging from 5-days to 7-days taking in such ports as Fukuoka, Kagoshima and Cheju.
Embarkation from Fukuoka will be offered especially for the Japanese market.
2012 will see a further commitment to the region with the 2,394-passenger Costa Victoria deployed to Shanghai to replace Classica.
A variety of new ports will be featured in the itineraries on offer including the tropical Hososhima, Wakayama, the location for the largest hot spring resort in Japan, Osaka and Tokyo.
