The one where ms Europa welcomed babies…

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will provide complimentary ‘Baby Welcome Packages’ from 20 July 2011. Aimed at reducing the amount of excess luggage young families need to travel with they will include such necessities as nappies, changing mats and bibs.

Cruisers can request specifics, including nappy size and baby food, prior to sailing with an option for organically grown products.

Family suites will also offer additional amenities including a baby monitor, travel cot, high chair and bath tub.

On the ms Europa, children up to three years of age sharing a cabin with their parents or grandparents travel free and those aged four to 15 years sail for 65 Euros per night.

Now I may not have children yet but I can’t think of anything better when I do, than not having to lug around things like nappies, a portable cot and suitable baby food.

Congratulations Hapag-Lloyd for really thinking about your passengers and making life a whole lot easier for families.
