Experience the charm of Sea Cloud Cruises, the bespoke cruise line that has been offering luxury cruises since 1979.

The “Queen of the Seas”, Sea Cloud, may have been originally constructed as a private yacht but her elegance is now available to be experienced by discerning cruisers who still marvel at her four-masted beauty.

Her sister, Sea Cloud II, joined the fleet in 2001 and offers an awe inspiring 32,150 square feet of sails that are set by hand just like the “Queen”, bringing the wonder of windjammers to the world of modern day luxury cruising.

If windjammers are too “Pirates of the Caribbean” for you, then perhaps a voyage aboard the River Cloud II is more your style. This five-star vessel takes in the glorious sights of the Rhine, Main and Danube along with the Black Sea to offer river cruising with a unique Mediterranean flair.

Whilst Sea Cloud may have been constructed in 1931, her original owner, Lady Marjorie Post’s tastes are still reflected aboard the “Queen” today.

Only the best was adequate for Lady Marjorie and this dedication to detail and luxury is still the focus of the accommodation available aboard the windjammer. From golden bath fixtures to Carrara marble, solid brass to antique furniture, each cabin is furnished with a touch of the Lady.

Sea Cloud II mimics this extravagance, with fine furniture and the richest of fabrics peppering each cabin and her bathrooms trimmed with marble baths complete with gold fixtures.

Aboard River Cloud II, your home away from home is highlighted by light woods, fine fabrics and fresh roses while she still maintains the nostalgia of the Sea Cloud brand with bathrooms fitted with marble sinks, golden fixtures and full baths.

Dining

First-class chefs are responsible for the fine cuisine offered aboard the Sea Cloud fleet with informal dinners offering delectable dishes the norm aboard each of their vessels.

The welcome and farewell dinners aboard are the only times you may need to dust off that suit and gown with glittering nostalgic formal affairs that Lady Marjorie would be proud of.

Open seating is the theme for each mealtime, with the option to dine with fellow cruisers of your choice on local specialties and wine designed with the region you are sailing in mind. Enjoy produce selected fresh from the markets in the exotic destinations you have passed through.

An ample buffet on deck is served on some moonlit evenings aboard Sea Cloud and Sea Cloud II. With the stars as your backdrop, you can immerse yourself in the true bespoke nature of such magnificent vessels and indulge in delicacies specially prepared for nights you will remember for a lifetime.

On deck is the place to be aboard Sea Cloud, where you can sit back and watch the world go by with a cocktail in hand.

Her two sisters also feature The Lounge, which is decked in warm mahogany furniture, ready for you to sink into with a glass of wine and listen to the pianist play tunes of yesteryear on the Steinway.

This is also the venue for guest lecturers throughout your voyage and the place to go for a sneaky midnight snack aboard Sea Cloud II!

Itineraries

Picture yourself on a Transatlantic voyage like no other aboard the Sea Cloud or Sea Cloud II. Marvel at the crew climbing the masts to man the sails with nothing but ocean as far as the eye can see. The worries of land are a lifetime away aboard these majestic vessels.
Both windjammers sail in the calm waters of the Caribbean, Costa Rica and Panama with Lady Marjorie’s yacht also taking in Southern Europe.

River Cloud II takes her Italian stylings down the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers and the Black Sea.
