Holland America’s ms Oosterdam and ms Volendam will return to Australia for another summer season from October 2013 to March 2014.
Visiting over 50 ports between the two vessels, passengers will have the option of ten- to 14-day voyages sailing either roundtrip out of Sydney or from Sydney to Auckland.
New Zealand itineraries will include the Fiordland National Park, Bay of Plenty, Wellington, Napier and Tauranga while several longer itineraries include a 34-day circumnavigation of Australia on ms Volendam roundtrip from Sydney on 20 October.
More than 20 ports will be featured as part of this voyage including scenic cruising through Ribbon Reef, Hamilton Island, Cairns, Exmouth, Kangaroo Island, Burnie and Lizard Island with overnight stays in Fremantle and Port Lincoln.
Unique Transpacific itineraries include ms Volendam’s 21- or 24-day South Pacific crossing out of either Los Angeles or Vancouver to Sydney and ms Oosterdam’s 24- or 27-day crossing out of either Los Angeles or Seattle to Sydney.
Holland America Line will also offer passengers the opportunity to extend their stay in Hobart, Australia; Noumea, New Caledonia; Honolulu and Lahaina, Hawaii; and Suva, Fiji while those after more time in Australia, pre- or post-cruise will have the option to add a three- or five-night land tour to the Great Barrier Reef, Ayers Rock, or The Blue Mountains.
