Two crewmembers from Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seaswere arrested in Port Everglades on Sunday for reportedly smuggling cocaine.

The Sun Sentinel reports that 25-year old Winston Hyman and Jimmel Thom were caught during a routine crew inspection following calls into Haiti, Jamaica and Mexico.

More than one kilogram of cocaine was discovered in a backpack that Cruise Law News reports was handed to the accused in Falmouth, Jamaica.

Mr Thom was reportedly paid USD$2,000 upfront with USD$1,000 expected to be received once delivery was made in Fort Lauderdale.
