Princess Cruises’ 3,600-passenger Royal Princess will feature more treatment rooms than ever before in their Lotus Spa.
Located adjacent to the atrium, the Lotus Spa also features a private Couples Villa and The Enclave, a thermal suite that is triple the size of any existing Lotus Spa.
Positioned within The Enclave will be a Hammam (Turkish-style steam room), the Caldarium (an herbal steam room), the Laconium (a dry heat sauna) and four sensory showers taking passengers from hot to cold and Princess’ first-ever hydrotherapy pool, complete with rain shower.
Access to the Thermal Suite is available for purchase on its own or as part of a treatment package.
“The opportunity for total relaxation is one of the key reasons to cruise with Princess,” Princess Cruises executive vice president Jan Swartz said.
“Naturally, our signature spa is a popular place for passengers to escape from any stress, and with the new Lotus Spa onboard Royal Princess we’re excited to give our passengers the ultimate place to unwind.”
A mixologist will be on hand to blend customised salt or sugar scrubs at the Scrub and Shine Bar while the Lotus Spa Salon will offer a nail bar, pedicure stations and barber shop for men.
The Lotus Spa will also feature an exclusive Couples Villa complete with customised music, sitting area, spa bath and side-by-side massage tables.
Royal Princess is slated for launch in June 2013.
