Norwegian Cruise Line will no longer offer free berths for children under the age of two in a move that brings them in line with several other cruise lines including Royal Caribbean and Carnival.
Norwegian, which currently does not allow children under the age of six months to sail aboard their ships, previously only charged a small portion of the fare to cover port fees and government taxes.
“All children now pay the same rate, which is typically the reduced (third or fourth) fare when travelling with two adults in the same stateroom,” a Norwegian Cruise Line spokesperson told Cruise Critic.
What do you think about the change in fares?
