The one where Seadream scooped the Berlitz Awards…

The ‘Berlitz Guide to Cruising and Cruise Ships’, released on 1 October, has listed SeaDream I and SeaDream II as the top two ‘Boutique Ships’ for the year.

Incorporating ships with a capacity of 50-200 passengers, SeaDream I scored 1,788 and SeaDream II 1,786 of a possible 2,000 points.

Honoured annually in the acclaimed Guide since its founding in 2001, the company has also been named as the top of its ‘Five Star Club’ regarding the vessels as the “crème de la crème”.

“We are honoured and delighted to have been so highly recognised once again in this world-renowned guide,” said Bob Lepisto, president SeaDream.

The results follow the company’s success in the ‘Condé Nast Traveller Annual Readers’ Travel Awards 2011’ where they were named the ‘Favourite Small Ship Cruise Line’, a first for the UK.
