Costa Cruises has announced the arrival of their soon to be renovated ship, Costa neoRomantica to Australia and New Zealand in December 2012.
On the back of Costa Deliziosa’s Australian deployment next February, neoRomantica will sail to ports including Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin, Cairns and Hobart in Australia along with Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington and Dunedin in New Zealand as part of the new itineraries on offer.
An array of itineraries from 21 to 88 nights will be available with embarkation and disembarkation options in Melbourne, Singapore, Mauritius, Dubai and Savona, Italy.
“Following the previously announced visit of one of our newest and most innovative ships – Costa Deliziosa…we are excited to announce our intention to double our presence in the market during local summer season 2012/2013 when both Costa Deliziosa and Costa neoRomantica will be sailing through Australia and New Zealand,” said Dario Rustico, vice president sales and marketing, Costa Cruises’ Pacific Asia Operations.
“We are eager to show off these ships and to welcome as many Australians and New Zealanders as we can, ensuring they remain impressed by the overall quality of our interiors as well as by our service, hospitality and cuisine.”
A Christmas holiday voyage has been designed specifically for Australians with a round-trip departing from Melbourne on 13 December 2012 visiting Sydney, North Island Coast, Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Akaroa, Dunedin, Fjordland and Hobart before returning to Melbourne.
Refurbishments will commence at the end of October this year with an expected completion date of February 2012.
