RCL Cruises Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Rosie Rissetto-Spiers in the role of Marketing Manager and Tessa Anderssen in the role of Public Relations Manager.

Both based in Sydney, Tessa and Rosie represent the company’s three cruise brands in the Australia and New Zealand markets: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises.

Tessa joins the cruise line from Toga Hotels, where she held the position of Communications Manager for three years. Prior to joining the travel industry, Tessa gained experience working in boutique PR agencies.

Royal Caribbean will continue to work with its two local PR agencies – The D’Arcy Partnership in Australia and Dock Street Group in New Zealand – to promote its ships and itineraries when sailing in Australia, New Zealand and internationally. The cruise line will also continue to work with its suite of media and digital agencies.

Rosie joins Royal Caribbean after 10 years with Air New Zealand in various marketing roles in New Zealand, Europe and Australia – most recently as Retail Marketing Manager for Australia. Rosie will drive the development of the three RCL cruise brands alongside its suite of creative, media and digital agencies.

“I’m delighted to welcome our two new recruits to our Sydney team. Both Tessa and Rosie bring strong experience in the travel industry and are a perfect fit for our rapidly expanding business,” said Adam Armstrong, Commercial Director, Royal Caribbean Australia & New Zealand.

The Royal Caribbean team look forward to the return of five superliners to Australia & New Zealand for the summer season in October, 2013.
